Registration is now open for the 7th National VA Conference, the biggest gathering and networking event for Virtual Assistants in the UK. This year, the event is to be held in Studley, Warwickshire on the 5th and 6th July, and promises to be even bigger than before. Successful ‘mumpreneur’, Carmen MacDougall, is the UK’s expert in Virtual Assistant training and has run the event since day one. Speaking as she announced the 7th conference, she said; “We host this event every year to encourage VAs to network and meet other like-minded people.
Being a Virtual Assistant can be a lonely job, usually you’re working alone and it’s great that events like this enable everybody to meet up in a social situation.” “This year, we are delighted to welcome Pauline Giles of the breast cancer charity, Bosom Buddies UK – my chosen charity. There is also plenty of time for networking between the VAs – a wonderful opportunity to also meet ‘online’ friends!”
“The event starts on Friday, July 6th, meeting up from midday and will be a full afternoon of activity. We have keynote speakers such as Grace Marshall, Gail Thomas, Tamsen Garrie, Yvette Taylor, Bernadette Jones, Helen Jacobi and Jacky Workman – all hugely successful and influential in business. The whole idea is for everybody to relax, enjoy themselves and possibly win business out of doing so!”
The 7th Annual VA Conference takes place at the Studley Castle Hotel, Warwickshire on the 5th and 6th of July, 2013. Tickets and more information are available at www.vaconference.co.uk
